A casual dress from 1932 can be made with long gathered sleeves or short sleeves. The dress has a yoke with button trim at the shoulders and inverted pleats at the hemline. The slim fitting dress has waist darts and an optional belt. The pattern includes instructions for lining the yoke and a bonus piece to create a button placket at the shoulder closure. The instructions for the optional lining are provided after the original bias finishing.
PDF versions include a copy shop print version as well as a letter/A4 version that you can print out at home. A picture of the inspiration pattern has been provided. The pattern has been scanned and graded from the original inspiration pattern. As vintage sizing has been used, I recommend making a muslin for fitting purposes.
The pattern is available in individual sizes as listed below.
