A princess seam sundress from 1946 has scalloped straps which meet at the center back in a “V”. The dress has a curved front neckline and buttons up the front. Either bound or machine buttonholes can be used. The front straps are caught in the front side seams and the top edge is finished with bias binding.

PDF versions include a copy shop print version as well as a letter/A4 version that you can print out at home. A picture of the inspiration pattern has been provided. The pattern has been scanned and graded from the original inspiration pattern. As vintage sizing has been used, I recommend making a muslin for fitting purposes.
