A 1948 dress has four-piece flared skirt and a sleeveless bodice with shaped cuffs. The dress has a button closing at left side from armhole to hem of skirt. The neckline has a shaped cut-out. Slightly lowered waistline is shaped and dress has a patch pocket on right side. Bound buttonholes are used for dress closing.
PDF versions include a copy shop print version as well as a letter/A4 version that you can print out at home. A picture of the inspiration pattern has been provided. The pattern has been scanned and graded from the original inspiration pattern. As vintage sizing has been used, I recommend making a muslin for fitting purposes.
