A 1953 box coat in two lengths. The coat has collarless built-up neckline. Wide sleeves are kimono in front and raglan in back, and may be folded back to form deep cuffs. Patch pockets or slot pockets in side seams depending on style. Shorter version can be made in felt. Bonus pieces have been provided for each view and for raglan shoulder pads based on Vogue 7503 as suggested on the original pattern.
PDF versions include a copy shop print version as well as a letter/A4 version that you can print out at home. A picture of the inspiration pattern has been provided. The pattern has been scanned and graded from the original inspiration pattern. As vintage sizing has been used, I recommend making a muslin for fitting purposes.
